Title given. Some of the time, I feel open and ready to be with someone. But more often than not, I feel like I would have nothing to offer in a relationship. I’ve been single for a couple of years now (aside from some flings, never had anything serious). And i feel like I could use more time to be independent. The thought of really getting to know someone and potentially being a big part of their life sounds like a big experience, and sometimes I feel ready for it, other times, I don’t. Sometimes it’s hard to imagine potentially molding my life around one person. I just feel like that is a side effect from being single and independent for so long it’s weird to imagine someone else being in it.
So the advice I’m asking for is, how do you single people know when you’re really ready to look for a relationship?
