Dating experience - Success Story

Hi there - long text incoming. I'm not a native English speaker, so sorry for mistakes.

I'm 24M and want to share my experience and may help others doing the same.

I've been single for 3 months after I quit my 5year realtionship. I felt alone, not being loved, not being wanted by her. I went to gym, eat healthier and felt better after the breakup. I installed a dating app where you see how many people look at your profile and how many of them like you. I have a bad 5%-10% like/look - ratio. I think im ok looking but short hair 'cus of getting bald may shock some women this age.

26th December: Once a day you have the chance writing a girl directly without needing her like. So I did it, I looked up her profile, saw some holiday images and guessed her location in the opening message. She answered, I was totally wrong but I got her in a conversation. We texted about this and that, I may tell you in detail if you want to know, and at the end of the day I asked her about her number - and got it.

27th December: We wrote all day, she responded with some questions aswell so she was interested in me and my life. We wrote about our favorite food, holidays and everything coming to our mind. I felt she had the same way thinking about things, so we had some good conversations.

28th December: We texted again and I asked her for a phone call later the day. Our houses are at around 50km distance. She was surprised I asked for it but she agreed. Later that day at 6p.m. I called her, of course I was nervous but I prepared some questions and again short in the talk I felt like we have the same way of thinking. Then I asked her when "when is your birthday?" -- "Tomorrow". I was speechles, it was so confident but how are the chances of her birthday being tomorrow? We had a great talk - and it went past midnight so I was her first well-wisher. In the end we talked for 6 hours. It was great.

29th December: I was not home but we still texted a lot and I asked her for a date next day. She agreed for a coffee, nothing special just getting to know each other.

30th December: We met at 2pm at a cafe and we talked. We talked like I've never done before. Usually I dont meet people at a cafe, but it was different. I had a small birthday present which was great i guess. After several hours I pushed forward and just took her hand - I mean, do or die - she is interested or not, so I went for it. She did not reject me so our hand connected for the rest of the stay. We stayed at that cafe until they closed at midnight (10 hours). We went out having a walk - can you imaging how my legs hurt after getting up? - and after 1 hour walk I stoped her and went infront of her. Looking into each others eyes, you know all that stuff, and getting a kiss. We had such a great time, we spend time together walking, talking, sometimes kissing until 6 am. So our first date was solid 15h.

31th December: We had different plans for new year but still texted all day.

1st Jan: After getting up late I asked her for a coffee again, because we slept at differnt locations in the same town and she agreed for afternoon. Again, we talked, we're making jokes, hands touched, just a great day.

Now I'm sitting here.. 1 week back I was alone, sad, lonely. Now I'm the opposite. I'm so thankful meeting her. Feels like she knows what I'm think sometimes. I start a sentence and dont find the word, she just ends the sentence the way I'd have done.

Guys out there - There will be someone who is a perfect match to you. You will find this person. It may take time, it might not be easy. Don't give up. Just be yourself.!
