So I recently decided to get back into the dating world and at a friends recommendation gave Hinge a try.A day or so in I got a message from a pretty cool girl who lives roughly an hour way, We acknowledged the distance but ended up getting on pretty well and by the end of the day had swapped numbers and social accounts.
Since then we have been talking non stop, calls before and after work, skyping each other in the evenings etc etc now this has gone on for about 3 weeks and we finally had our first date today.
We met up and she ran at me when she saw me and gave me a massive hug, I took her out for lunch at a restaurant we both really liked (she paid) and then we saw a movie we were both pretty keen to see (I paid).
During the movie she cuddled up to me and from my point of view things were going pretty well but as we walked back to the station and things suddenly took a confusing twist.
She said it was an amazing date and shes so glad she came but now shes pretty tired and wants to catch a train so she kisses me goodbye and then leaves.
A few hours later I ask if she got back okay and I get the following response.
"Today was amazing but I dont want you getting the wrong idea, I dont think we should talk anymore" A bit confused I asked if I had done something wrong during the date because this seems like a complete 180 from how things have been the past few weeks to which the only response I got back was "nope".
So now im confused about what the hell happened and to be honest feeling a little deflated by the whole thing.
Has anybody been in a similar situation to this before or have any advice for these type of situations?
