How is a people pleaser with low self esteem supposed to set boundaries

I'm meeting these seemingly great guys, but I'm blowing my chances by being too fearful to actually go out with them.

In the past, I've let things progress too quickly, if you know what I mean. Mostly because I wanted to, but also because I wanted them to like me.

I know this sounds desperate and pathetic. How do I set boundaries without coming off as an un-fun prude?
