So I (18M) recently gathered the courage to ask out a girl (18F) who I’ve been friends with for years.
She is the first and only person I have ever asked out. This is also going to be my first ever date and as far as I know, the same is true for her.
Now I am also Celiac, not by choice and not as a lifestyle decision so it’s serious. I don’t eat out as there’s literally 3 places that I can eat at in the city and all are expensive. And she knows all that so I was really surprised when she agreed.
She mentioned that she likes sandwiches so she agreed to let me make the food, we’ve cooked together before so me cooking isn’t all that new.
We’re going on a outdoor picnic style date, her suggestion. Well it happens to be around -10,-15 degrees these days and with around a foot of snow at the minimum. She likes sandwiches and being outdoors and I don’t mind and since I’m limiting our traditional eating out/meal dates, I figured it wasn’t a bad compromise.
I just realized I’m completely clueless about it all though.
Since I’m new to this whole dating thing, does anyone have ideas or experience with outdoor picnic dates in the winter ?
