I’ve just come from a thread in which a young man and the other men in the thread have branded a young lady a gold digger because she asked that instead on going for a coffee date, they go have dinner. I have never understood this stupid argument and it is very incelly to me.
IF YOU DONT WANT TO PAY THEN SAY YOU WANT TO SPLIT THE BILL!!
No one is holding a gun to your head to pay!! In the post the man said in the past when he had done the “gentlemanly thing “ and paid for 40 dollars of food the girls ghosted him, the conclusion is then that all women go on dates for free meals! Tf??? You can cook at home! Maybe they didn’t respond because they didn’t have a good time.
Do you have any idea the effort required to dress up and travel for a date? Then to sit there with someone you have no chemistry with just for a free meal?
This is absolutely stupid and embarrassing. This is not the hill to die on! People are actually dying . Who exactly is digging for Gold when you are worried about 40 dollars and clearly shouldn’t be Dating because that amount leaves a dent in your finances. Stop it!
To men and women, if you want to spilt the bill then spilt it and if he or she doesn’t like it then they aren’t for you and you move on!
I have been on dates where I have paid the entire bill, spilt or the guy has paid. I personally don’t care! I’m sick of this pathetic childish crap from broke men who can’t afford to date and complain that women who actually want to go for a meal or a drink are gold diggers. How on Earth does that make any sense when you clearly have no gold for her to dig. How sway???
Start dating women who have similar expectations and stop branding people gold diggers because they actually want to go on a date in which you have put some effort and planning into high maintenance or gold diggers. That’s the bare bloody minimum.
