She is 5 years older than me, we just had our 3rd date, she is quite shy and introverted. She told me at our 3rd date that she never been in a relationship and never actively dated someone. She is super sweet and has all the qualities I'm looking for, she doesn't like to be called sweet/beautiful so she doesn't take physical compliments. She is straight-forward with me which I told her it's super attractive. We have a great time together and good conversation flow, we also share similar values. She is extremely busy, she is at university and does research.
Unfortunatelly she also told me that she looks at me as a friend which I understand and because we met online which is weird/new for her.
I am now on a 3 month holiday abroad so we can't really continue meeting until I come back but she agreed to video-calls when she is available. (Once a week or once every second week).
I'm not that experienced myself but I've been in a few relationships so I am confident in myself and I would not continue "chasing" after I find out the other person is not interested but I can't make myself do that this time and I don't know why.
I want to try more.
Am I a hopeless romantic?
Should I just move on?
