I'm a 24 year old female. As far as looks go, I'm conventionally attractive so this is more of a personality/approach thing.
I honestly have no clue what I do to turn men off. When I was younger I was pretty shy and men approached me more than they do now but I noticed my more extroverted friends would get all the guys in the end. Now that I'm older I'm more extroverted but I feel like men like me even less.
Regarding approaching men, if I don't go and do it myself they won't come to me. I'm thinking of all my past relationships and in all of those except maybe like 2 I was the one who did the first move. Men rarely come up to me, and I honestly have no clue what made them come those few times. And of the times I go and approach guys, it's like 20% of the times it works and the other 80% doesn't.
My conclusion was that maybe my approach is too direct/clumsy/aggresive but also my friends tell me I look too closed off and aloof so I guess I can't find that happy medium of being approachable but not overbearing.
I guess my question is how can I achieve that balance, and maybe other insights about my situation? Maybe I'm completely wrong and there is something I'm not seeing.
