We've been good friends for a few months, and despite the age gap, we have a lot in common and get along so well. There is chemistry there that is undeniable when we're in person or talking on the phone, that flirty banter and teasing, but he has not made a move. Unsure if it's because there's such an age difference between us or there's always the possibility of him not being attracted to me. He's discussed how ready he is to find the one and wants to kid married and have children (which I have not even commented on because we aren't involved romantically). So, I know he's prospectively looking for someone. Also, I'm not freaking out over not having children yet or not being married, I want those things, but I'm not the type that has baby fever constantly and is desperately searching for my husband, pretty chill about it actually.
Anyways, if she was 9 years older than you and admitted feelings or admitted she found you attractive, how would you feel about it? I've invited him to have a tv show marathon together one-on-one and he says he's down for that. So I know he doesn't mind being alone together. Should I make a move myself before then, hinting at my attraction?
The age difference is 21 and 30 in our case. (I want to add, that 90% of people who meet me or don't know my age usually assume I'm around 23-34. So, I act young and look young for my age, not sure if this changes anything at all).
Thank you!
