Hey! I'm a woman in my 20s and I'm currently single, I'm someone who 100% prefers meeting people and potential romantic interests in person, I'm not a fan of someone sliding in my dms let's say. I recently met a guy while I was tipsy at a bar lol, we talked for a good while and I genuinely liked our banter, nothing else happened that night but we ended up exchanging Instagram accounts. Since then, we've been texting pretty frequently (it's only been a few days), we obviously keep things light and fun but to be honest I like it (I just got out of a quite heavy romantic situation where feelings got hurt, so I'm currently enjoying something very light). The thing is, I'm SO not used to texting people like this that I find it kind of embarrassing lol, I almost feel like a teenager again. I wouldn't mind seeing this guy again, maybe not on a date but even a brief irl conversation would be nice. I need someone to reassure me that texting people is not embarrassing hahahhahah, does anyone else think this way too?
