I’m 23M and have only ever had dates from OLD (but very few and have been on apps for a few years). I don’t get many matches but don’t think I’m that unattractive and have changed my pics and bio a million times but it is what it is. The OLD pool is competitive and I think I’m giving up on it.
That said, I found some good videos on day game where this guy walks through cold approaches using the “London day game system”: complements the girl, makes several friendly and flirty accusations about her but eventually closes with an invitation to a date. Seems simple.
The problem is I have MAJOR approach anxiety. I find it so odd that me, a complete stranger, dares to interrupt someone’s day and I also fear the awkwardness that a conversation could bring - I’m new to day game and not super witty but I think I understand the basic format of the London day game system.
I decided that today, I’m gonna go to the local mall and try it out. I got some nice clothes and freshened up, went to the mall and I just stone cold froze and didn’t even approach anyone. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. I felt scared that I was going to be in an uncomfortable and awkward spot so I just didn’t even approach. I feel so mad at myself, like trapped in this never ending cycle of thinking I’ll do it then going out and not actually doing it.
I need to overcome approach anxiety. If anyone can give me advice please let me know.
