So, I met this girl some months ago and we started texting. At first, she really seemed excited about recieving messages from me, often replying the same day with veeeeery long and thoughtful messages herself. Through that, we got to know eachother so good that I would even go as far as to say that we pretty much had already a first date through exchanging personal information via WhatsApp. (Although I am well aware that texting cannot replace a face-to-face situation.) Hell, she even had many opportunities to simply let the conversation come to a halt, but she was the one that kept it going by asking me further questions or telling me something new about herself.
However, in the last two months or so, her replies started getting more and more scarce. Now, I often have to wait at least a couple of days or even a week to get a rather short reply on simple and equally short messages. (And yes, before you ask: I know for a fact that she is on her phone pretty much all the time.) On the other hand, she has already agreed that we should finally meet up in person, since until now we haven't been able to do so.
Getting these mixed signals gets me confused. Should I continue to pursue her or do I waste my time, and possibly money if I go on a date with her? Because to be honest, I kind of had enough and don't want to try further if the initial odds that she's into me are rather slim.
