Ok, guys and gals of this sub, help me out a bit. Where is it not weird to approach someone?

Basically I feel like I'm bashing my head into a brick wall. My romantic life is non-existent. I want to change that, but I have no idea how.

Tinder or other dating apps do not work, Believe me I've tried. I think it has to do with me being 24 and the country I live in barely anyone uses tinder (this is true, pretty much everyone thinks that tinder is just for lame men to sit on.)

But honestly everywhere I go, people seem like they are in their own world and do not want to be disturbed. It feels awkward to even think of approaching them :/ And anxiety does not help, I get it every time I speak with new people and groups. Can't get rid of it.

So where would it be not awkward to approach someone to get their number and set up a date afterwards? salsa socials? Bars/ clubs (I hate those)?
