Before I go into things I would like to give context and a background story. So I work locally to this store/ sandwich shop that I go in regularly. The people are always nice both the male and female staff. But I know it’s also part of their job to be.
But anyways I would tend to talk to them and they would talk to me talk about interest and all sorts. But let me not forget there was this girl I liked who worked there and still does and she would wave at me and talk to me ask me questions, ask what school I go to recommend me anime ect. Apparently her colleagues even told her that we go to the same college and she would joke around.
So a few weeks ago I gave her a note with my number embarrassingly, she asked me what it was and i ran out and said i have to go to work and ran out of the store😳. ( it still embarrase me to this day).
Then the next time I went in, her colleagues where all laughing and sniggering. I acted myself and talked to them and acted as if nothing happened. As if I didn’t know why they was laughing. She was silent though. Anyways so I get to her serving me and asked for her number. She said “oh my phone is in the back” I said “whatever it’s okay” I took my things and left.
I di still go in there on my work breaks and talk to them and they still talk to me. But I have been noticing that every time I go in, she is never there and she is in the back. I asked one of her colleagues as a joke “why is she hiding”. Cause I saw her as she was talking to other colleagues. She said “oh she has learning to do”. and she said a few week ago it was cute what I did. I went back in a few hours later after work, and the girl I liked she was there on till. She looked like she was about to go to the back but didn’t. I made a joke with one of the other colleague girls who I talk to, and the girl I liked she stared smiling. I didn’t look at her and jut left.
I went in again today, but at a different time as I was given a break at a different time and she was in the back again. The other girl kept going back and forth. Im not even sure if its concedentes she was in the back or if it’s me.
I’m not even going to make anymore moves on her again, I’m just wondering now if I should stop going there cause I don’t want to make her feel uncomfortable. I only go cause it’s close, the food is good, the staff are nice and the food is fast and accessible on my work break.
