What kind of guy brags about all the female attention he is getting?

I’m baffled.

My relationship with this guy is complicated. He keeps telling me about all the female attention he is getting. Girls asking for his phone number, girls asking him out on dates, girls giving him gifts and attention. Girls approaching him in the club and wanting to have sex with him. In most of the cases in his stories he is not interested in them.

I don’t get it. Why is he telling me this? I get plenty of male attention myself but I don’t tell him when guys ask me out. It’s weird.

And who are these girls? What kind of woman not only asks out a guy, but showers him with gifts when he acts uninterested? Not only one, but multiple? I don’t know anyone who would act like this
