Have you ever fell in love with the idea of someone? How did it end?

A girl just fell in love with me via text. Or at least she thinks, because we haven't met for months, just texted, and the first time we met she was "in love with me". I'm not saying I wasn't happy, but I'm afraid she'll be disappointed, nád breaks my heart.
