So I’ve been casually sleeping with this guy. In person he’s super chill, funny, laughs a lot, really easy to connect with. He’s shown me music he’s working on, clothing designs he hasn’t shared with anyone, and even helped me revise for an exam paper (his suggestion) which was honestly thoughtful. Most importantly sexually, it’s agreeably great but totally casual. Overall, it feels like chilling with a friend but with great sex.
The pattern though… he disappears for weeks, ignores texts (about meeting up. I don’t want to text in-between other than making plans) and pops back up randomly.
At first, I started ignoring him when he tried to hmu because the hot/cold energy was annoying and it felt like it was always on his terms but a couple of weeks later… well, I was horny and gave in lol. Last night I reached out again, just casually, and got ignored which honestly fits the pattern.
I guess I expected at least a little bit of respect or acknowledgment for a casual setup, but maybe that’s silly? Or is it not too much to ask for a tiny bit of consistency even in a casual situation? Just observing human behavior here. It’s just difficult to enjoy when it feels LONG.
