I’m 31 and lately I’ve been wondering how people actually end up finding meaningful connections so naturally.
I see people meeting partners through games, Reddit, pubs, trips, work, random events or mutual friends, almost like it just happens for them. Some people don’t even seem to be actively looking, yet they meet someone who genuinely likes them.On the other hand, I’ve been trying for years. I socialize, meet new people, go out when I can and try to stay open to conversations, but I’ve never really met someone who showed real interest in me.It sometimes makes me question whether it’s just luck, timing, or if there’s something I’m not understanding about how connections actually happen. Finally, for people who struggled for a long time but eventually found someone, what changed for you?
Was it effort? A mindset shift? A different environment? Or simply the right moment?
