Hi guys! Met someone at my gym and he pursued me pretty quickly. Constantly texting, setting up times to work out together, making an effort to talk to me. This was going on for like 2 months. Well he finally decided to offer to hang out outside the gym....bought dinner and brought it over to my apartment. So we watched movies, talked a lot, ended up cuddling. Then he goes to make a move and we make out for a few minutes. He tried to take it further, but I️ said no because I️ thought it was too soon. This was our first time hanging out outside the gym and I️ still didn’t know him that well. Plus I told him “not right now” not “no” forever.
Anyway everything seemed fine the whole week following that, but this past week he has been super distant, not responding to messages the way he used to, and not coming up to talk to me in the gym. But he still eventually responds and asks me when I’m working out. So my question is, was he just looking to bone and is now not interested because I️ told him no the first time?? Seems like a lot of work to put in to just completely do a 180 with no explanation. I️ just don’t understand and guess I️ need to just let it go but it’s hard for me not to try and pursue and try to initiate things.
