So to give a little backstory this girl and I share a mutual friend who’s my roommate in college. When we first met and started hanging out in a group setting she was very shy and introverted towards everyone in the group. As time progressed she started hanging around our dorm more and more, asking to come over more often and so on. The more her and I talked we seemed to click. We both have very similar interests and leading up to the last weeks of college before it closed things were heating up. She would come over and my roommates would go to bed but we would stay up very late sometimes until 3am just talking and sort of casually flirting. I sort of built a mild crush on her at this time but didn’t want to act on it as we all genuinely enjoyed hanging out with her and if she didn’t feel the same way it would make things weird between my roommates and her. I wanted to wait for more concrete proof. Unfortunately the pandemic put a halt on this. I still talk to her over Snapchat occasionally and she never seems reluctant to talk. However recently she has been very erratic when responding to Snapchat. Sometimes leaving it unopened for a full day while sometimes answering within the hour. Now the thing is it’s not like she’s busy as she posts on her story while still leaving leaving my unopened. Now the question is did I miss my chance before quarantine started? Or is there still some hope.
EDIT: And if there is still hope how would I go about this without seeming needy?
