I recently met this new girl and after a couple dates, I’m realizing I really really like her. Like she is absolutely amazing and sweet and everything about us makes sense. I think we could be really good for each other.
...but for some reason, I am having such a hard time taking things to the next level with her. I have only been in one serious relationship in my life and it ended pretty bad and I think it kind of messed things up for me because any other time I have gotten close to something like that again, I shut down and freak out and convince myself I’m not ready. But the truth I’m starting to think I am as ready as I ever am going to be and I just don’t know how to step up to that next level. I know I can’t be the only one out there who has been afraid to get serious with someone and I open up but I don’t want to screw this up because I’m not sure if connections like this happen many times in a life time.
Has anyone had any experiences like mine and if so what did you do? Was it worth it or any regrets? Any advice would help. Love you reddit and thanks
