During my (M 24) sophomore year of college I had met and regularly had sex with a girl in my dorm who was a bit on the heavier side. She could be categorized as "fat" but I never had a problem or issue with it. We never discussed a relationship and it was purely FWB.
We eventually stopped meeting up and talking but stayed connected on social media. I'm not sure if she transferred or dropped out because I never saw her on campus, but around 3 years later she had deleted all her posts on social media and I noticed that she was posting new photos. She looked like a completely different person, in that she had lost a lot of weight. You would not know she used to be heavy if you did not know her before. She even had a boyfriend and I was happy for her.
Fast forward to now and it appears she is single. We haven't spoken in years but she recently liked an instagram photo (my first time posting in a year). I want to reach out to her to catch up, since we never "split" on bad terms and we haven't talked in years.
What I am worried is that she will only think I'm reaching out after all these years because she is "hot" now and trying to fuck again, when in actuality I'm just curious about her life after all these years. I mean, if there is a connection between us I would consider it, but that isn't the goal. Should I still reach out?
