I (24)M met this new gal at work (20)F and shes lovely. Everytime I see her she smiles & waves back to me. So I asked another coworker whats her story if shes single. She said go for it. It also says shes single on Facebook. So everytime I went to work she would say "Your girls here" in a joking tone. It was funny but I finally said okay I'll start talking to her.
Oddly enough I saw her working alone and I approached to say hello. I threw in a classic feeler of asking her name and see if she would ask my name back. She did. I then asked if she went to the same high school where I teacher shadowed. She looked familiar. Sure enough there was some common ground. Its a small world after all. She would occasioanlly give me follow up questions after that where I didnt initiate the convo, which is good. She even stayed a little bit after work to talk for a few minutes. She would tell me which days she didn't work. I finally asked for her snapchat and she agreed and she scanned my code & I added her. A few seconds after asking for her snapchat i asked "Hey if youre ever free I wouldnt mind going to Starbucks for a drink with you" She replied "Sure I'm down! I love starbucks." So far so good.
I waited 5 days and i snapchatted her: "Hey I was wondering when you were free for that drink? I forgot to ask if you speak english or spanish better lol? i only taught math not spanish at Mojave high so i hope my spanish is decent." She texted back "Hey! :3 I'm always down just let me know"
I texted back a few hours later "Are you free next Sunday afternoon? i remember you told me you dont work Mondays or Sundays :) Or what day this week are you free?" She just left me on read...I see her post stories on her snapchat. Im a little confused. Its been a 4 days now.
Maybe I think she knows im into her since my cowoker spilled the beans. Its only really been like 3 weeks of us knowing each other and talking for a little bit. I plan on not texting her again for 2 weeks. In the mean time I want to talk to other gals. I also dont want to bug her. If I do see her at work for the next 2 weeks I wont initiate convo but just move on. The next time where I want to ask her out again I definetly feel like I want to ask her out in person. If I see her at work and only if she initiates a convo I think i should ask her out again. I hate texting games lol. What do you guys think? Forgive me if my writing is confusing or terrible. I've gotten nasty feedback for it sometimes
