I am a quiet, reserved person. I find it difficult to initiate a casual conversation. But I believe I am a good listener and once someone starts a conversation I can continue it. Partially because of this difficulty I have never dated anyone even though I want to. Around me I see a lot of outgoing people, or at least they appear to be so. I don’t mean to say that an introvert can only be happy with an introvert but I personally find it more intimidating to approach outgoing people. They seem so full of energy. I feel I will not be able to match that. I think I will feel more comfortable being with people who are introvert like me. They have a better chance of understanding me. But here’s the catch. How do I talk to an introvert? If someone is an introvert, they are not likely to approach me. Neither am I likely to approach them. How should I get out of this dilemma? Please give advice if you have been in similar situation and found a way out. Also I sure there are many flaws with my line of thinking. Please feel free to point them out. Thanks!
