I’m actually getting really sick of this, are guys supposed to be the only one learning things about the girl and keeping up the conversation?

Legit every girl I meet on dating apps (and the one girl I went on a date with) cannot hold a conversation or even seem to give any effort.

I’ll initiate conversations with them and the whole time it’s about them. I say something and then they answer, but they never ask or try to learn anything about me.

When they respond, they end in a way where I have to figure out how to continue things or the conversation just dies. Eventually I just give up because I’m not interested in someone who doesn’t seem interested in me.

Is this just the way dating girls works? This is honestly really lame. I’m trying to find someone I can connect with, not just throw attention at some girl.
