I've gotten to know a girl who lives in my apartment building over the past couple of weeks. We've had a couple good dates and hangouts with friends and just went on a group camping trip in which we had a drunk make out and ended up sharing a tent (no sex or anything). We're definitely into each other, both in our 30s, have similar relationship goals, etc. However, she mentioned several times that she won't date someone who lives in her building, but we're clearly heading in that direction and share a mutual attraction. She's rightfully afraid of feeling awkward in her own home if it doesn't work out. So, what should I do?
As of now my plan is to text her (not sure if texting is appropriate here) and say 'hey, would you make an exception to your no neighbors rule if we take it slow and get to know eachother first. I 100% understand if you say no, but wanted to ask as I would hate to rule it out completely over a building neither of us plan to live in forever.' She has mentioned (during a drunkish convo) that she wouldnt want to be exclusive if we were to date, which is totally fine with me. What do you all think?
TIA
