As a girl, should I offer to pay on the first date?

I’m going on my first date ever, and I wanna know if it’s okay to pay on the first date or should the guy do it? Or should we split the bills? How would a guy feel if the girl payed on the first date? I’m inexperienced that’s why I have a lot of questions 😬
