Okay so I met a guy from a dating app like a month or two ago. We became friends on snapchat but didn’t really talk at first, it was casual and brief.
Then recently we’ve been talking all day, everyday for two weeks now which has been going good and he’d send a snap of himself but like a selfie up close. (His pics on the dating app are from 2yrs ago)
We planned to go to a museum tomorrow and meet. He asked for my Instagram to see more pictures of me. Then I asked for his and he was like “I don’t post on there” and I was like “oh okay , so do you have any pictures of you?” And he said “I just moved here so no and I don’t have anyone to take pictures of me. Many of them are old or with family.” So I didn’t want to make it a big deal I was like “oh okay that’s fine.” But he did get defensive and I kept saying “you’re good lol”
I just thought it’s funny he wanted to get an idea of who he’s meeting and asked me for pictures but when I do the same trying to get a better idea of what he looks like then it’s a problem. I mean he could’ve just sent a quick selfie or two , mirror pic whatever.
Idk I could be overthinking. He asked if it’s weird or a problem but I told him I was just asking. Plus he could be one of those people who just don’t take pictures. Do y’all think this is a red flag or is it true some just don’t take pictures?
