I went on a first date last night with a girl I met on tinder. I took her out to sushi. We had a lot in common. I made her laugh a few times but there were a few lulls in our conversations. I’m not the super talkative type and we both are introverts.
Anyway, the night came to an end and instead of going in for the kiss, I hugged instead. It’s just so bizarre for me to go in for one. The mechanics throw me off. I asked if she wanted to go on another date and she said yes, to text her. Though I think this was just a formality. Just to agree. I texted her later that night to say I had a great time. She texted back saying the same and hopes to do it again soon.
This feels weird because it seems super obvious of what I should do next: Plan the next date. But where I get lost is the texting or bonding from now to then (this is my main issue.) I’m not a huge texter either. My next move is to text her today and see when she’s available. I feel like I should wait a day or so to “process” our date and make sure this is what we both want. But I don’t care. I want to see her again and want to make sure the next date is extra special.
