I went on a date with a girl last Friday and hit it off insanely well. I ended up going back to her place that night and we messed around a bit. The next morning we got breakfast and she asks if I want to come with her that night to drink with some of her friends, so I did and got invited to stay at her place again. On Sunday we spent the entire day and most of the evening together watching movies while cuddling and occasionally making out. We had a really great connection and were constantly having really good conversations that got pretty deep into our past and current lives at certain moments. It all just felt really comfortable, and we talked about getting dinner either Thursday/Friday night this week. I ended up kissing her goodbye and she asked if I would text her when I got home safe, so I did. We had a short conversation and went to sleep after saying good night. Yesterday she messages me in the afternoon saying she hopes my day is going well and we continued to text through the night with most of our texts being paragraphs. Now, this is the point where I'm probably overthinking: she tells me good night because she was feeling tired so I said it back to her. My text was the last one sent. If I were to text her later on tonight and ask her how her day was would that look bad..? I've always followed the rule that double texting is a bad idea especially early on, but the way things played out makes me wonder if it wouldn't be weird at all (especially a full day after). I honestly just really like talking to her but I'm worried that breaking the double text rule would be a turn-off. I'm probably not thinking clearly because of the new emotions I'm feeling so any outside help would be appreciated.
