Just wanted share my ( 26,M)story and some positivity. Matched with a girl before Christmas and we had good vibe texting for 2 weeks. Wanted to arrange a date after Christmas, she then suggested to meet earlier since she didnt want to wait. On the 23rd we were supposed to meet for a dinner date, but she canceled on me since she meet someone else where she thinks it could get serious.
Obviously i was a bit devastated, didn't really expect that, but I was glad she told me and didnt use me for a free meal. Was a bit shit of her though to schedule a date short before Christmas and then meet the other dude one day before... I ended contact respectfully wished her luck and told her i would also not disregard a friendship since we are nearly neighbors.
3 weeks ago she added me on snapchat, i did accept but didn't text her. She initiated contact again and after a bit of texting she even asked for a date! I took her to the restaurant on saturday even driving there together, she was really cute and we had a nice time. When i dropped her off at her place i noticed she wanted a kiss, so I gave her a good night kiss.
I don't know, where the journey will go, but we have hard plans to meet up again this week. I feel like she really wants to pursue me.
Never would have happend if i would have been angry or disrespectful to her after she stood me up the first time. Never burn bridges and be nice, you never know what life has in store for you.
