I’m 25F, she’s 24F and I miss how she made me feel. She was the one who messaged me first and cared a lot about me. She asked me on a date and was interested in me. She said “I only want you.” and from that day began texting me every day. We were texting since November on a dating app but met in real life in January and it lasted until February.
But she eventually got annoyed because I didn’t ask her to come back to my apartment to have sex after the second date. I found out she’s having hookups with others and she said she can’t promise anything serious. I didn’t want anything serious with her either because we have different values, and lifestyles and I have a good job while she just started university and is partying all the time. She was previously in a 9 year relationship and engaged then had to go to a psychward and got diagnosed with bipolar.
I was attracted to her so we decided to have sex and it felt really good, she was all over me for 4 hours straight but she then started having a psychotic episode. I know she wasn’t well because she woke up the next day and changed. She broke up with me and wanted to be friends or friends with benefits and said “happy to keep you in my life.”
BUT she started responding to me late and I can tell she don’t care anymore, when I confronted her she got angry at me and said she don’t want anything anymore. (She begged me to be friends after the breakup and I refused) but later on, I agreed just because I missed her, yet she didn’t give me any attention.
At the end, we apologized to each other and stopped talking. (2 months ago). I still miss her but am not sure if it will be bad to reach out and try to be friends. I know we are not compatible for a relationship but I miss her as a friend. Should I reach out?
