Lately, I’ve been feeling not “enough love” from my husband, nothing has changed much but I just have this gut feeling that something is wrong and I always take it negatively when an SO is easily mad at small things that I ask or do.
I can’t get the feelings off my chest and is always making my head spin. So one night, while he was sleeping, I checked his phone messages. And there are conversations with a woman. I checked the photos they sent to each other and I found that he sent her photos I thought he only sent to me. While the girl has sent multiple selfies, a cleavage pic and a pic of her bare thighs and legs, at one time she was “mad” at him and told him “he is blowing her off again”.
It was too much for me. My husband woke up a little bit after that and I asked if he’s cheating on me. Then I proceeded to tell what I found and asked for explanation. Take note that I’m still calm while asking. My voice was even hushed since it’s late at night.
Immediately he was mad and annoyed and proceeded to tell me she was only a friend. He refused to talk more about it and went out to take a walk and will be back until “I’m not mad anymore”.
Is it really normal for friends to send those kind of pictures to each other? Am I in the wrong here? And why would she feel entitled to his replies?
In one of their messages, my husband told her that he’s going to a trip, vacation, but he said he’s going alone when in fact we’re together on that trip? Also when I asked him if I did the same to a guy, send cleavage and bare thighs and legs pic, is that okay with him? And he said “I don’t care”. Huh.
So now I can’t sleep and questioning my life choices. I don’t know how to proceed with this. My mind is starting to think that cheating is okay and maybe I should just cheat on him too.
