Hey everyone,
I could really use some advice on a situation that’s been on my mind for a while.
I’m a 22-year-old student, and I’m on the board of a student fraternity. One of my fellow board members, She (19F), is the vice president. We work together a lot, and over time, I’ve developed feelings for her. She’s smart, fun, and we get along really well. We have also known eachother for almost 2 years now.
The problem is, I’m hesitant to say anything for a few reasons:
-
We work closely together. If she doesn’t feel the same way, it could make things awkward, and I don’t want to ruin our good dynamic.
-
The age gap. I know three years isn’t a huge difference, but I still wonder if it might be a factor.
-
Fear of rejection. I haven’t had much luck in dating, and I don’t want to mess this up.
I’m not sure if she sees me as more than a friend or just as a colleague, and I don’t want to misinterpret things. Should I take the risk and tell her how I feel? Or would it be better to just keep things as they are and wait for a clearer sign?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
