Hello guys, I’m a (23 M) that lives in Clarksville, TN that travels to Nashville, TN for work. I’m 6’2 and a half. I’m in fairly good shape. I was a solid athlete in high school. I put on a bit weight my last year of college. However I’ve shaved off over 30 pounds since I’ve started working out and eating at a calorie deficit about two months ago. I’m a Sound Engineer. I’ve noticed that I’ve started finding myself attracted to women who are clearly older than me. I made out with a fit and beautiful 37 year old woman from Cincinnati and conversed with her for almost 2 hours on Valentine’s Day and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I would’ve went to her hotel to cuddle after I got off my double shift, but I was getting tired and I had to drive back home. It was already 3 AM at this point. I was on a 2 hour break before my next shift when we met. I’ve also been complemented by older women on 3 separate occasions in the last 2 months. I never been a guy to like compliments, they’ve made cringe for some unknown reason. However, when those women complimented me I felt great. I don’t know maybe it’s because they were all mildly attractive I haven’t dated anyone since my senior year of high school and I’ve kissed or slept 2 women in the last 3 years. I’ve just started opening myself to the possibility to dating again. I went on two dates with different women that were my age or younger. It was very hard to hold a conversation with them and it seems like they weren’t interested in me. I’m a straight shooter, so after awhile if I feel like you don’t want me around I’ll wrap up the conversation and be on my way. I’ve been told that act very mature for age multiple times over the years, especially now and I still kinda don’t see it. Having a sense of responsibility shouldn’t be something related to age. I work and are around people that are significantly older than me. Maybe that has something told with it. The only people around my age that I hang out with is my bros from college and my bros from high school. Anyways, I’m on here asking for advice, when it comes down to it I want a long-term relationship with a woman. However, I’ve been leaning towards older women these days. I also have to think about if I could date a woman with kids, which the possibility of a woman having one increases with age. I don’t think I can. How would I approach dating an older woman, where to find mildly attractive older women, and maybe some success stories as well to help me gauge how I can be successful in my own pursuit of happiness. Who’s knows maybe I might get lucky and find one on here.
Before you disregard how I feel, no I don’t have parental plights with my mother. We’ve definitely had our issues over the years, but we’ve worked them out. I love her very much and she’s been gracious enough to let me stay in her house while i build my income. I graduated from college less than a year ago and I didn’t receive much financial aid because of my low act score, so I had to pay for college. Which is another reason why I swore off dating for a while cause I literally had no time for it. I’m debt-free because of it, so I’m saving as much as possible before I move out towards the end of year. I would’ve moved out by now, but I had gotten hit by a woman that had a suspended licensed and my car got totaled. I had to save up for a new one.
