What's up, guys.
So basically, I’ve been talking to this girl for about a month through text, and things were feeling really good. We went on a date, and it seemed like the vibes matched. We kept in touch through texting and FaceTime and eventually went on a second date. That one felt even better—we sat next to each other while eating and had a deep conversation about our lives and past experiences. I really enjoyed it, and I think she did too.
But lately, the texting has gotten really dry. I can’t tell if it’s because she’s dealing with car troubles or if the spark is just gone. A few days ago, I asked if she wanted to FaceTime, and she replied with: “I just got home from dropping my car at the shop. I’m exhausted.” That felt off to me, but I let it go.
Since then, her texts have been super dry and delayed. It’s starting to feel like this might not work. I want it to, because I genuinely like her—but the way she’s been communicating doesn’t feel reciprocated.
Any advice?
