Fwb said “I was a catch” but what does that mean quite exactly?

We’re both young in our early to mid 20s and he recently told me “you’re such a catch, why aren’t you partnered up?” Lol. I’m not quite understanding what he meant, what does it mean when men or people in general say that to you?
