I think this girl is unknowingly confusing me and now i don't know what she thinks of me

There is a girl i find very attractive in a course at university. The first 2 times we already spoke a couple of sentences and she seems to be a really kind and supportive person. She (like most others) never came to the course again because apperantly the oral exam is pretty easy. So i figured i have to ask her out via instagram and so i did. I found her Insta, wrote a few messages ("hey you are * from the course, right?" "Are you planning on coming again next week?" and stuff like that). Then i think i fucked up a bit by asking her if she maybe wants meet for a coffee or something else some time if she wants which maybe was little bit too early but i don't really know (at least all my friends said it was way too early). Well, she replied but didnt mention my question at all in her next messages. She just kept on writing about the subject of the course. Then i let the chat die pretty quickly because i didnt really want to annoy her. Few weeks later i suddenly get a message from her. She wants to know how far i am on the subject and that shes worried about the exam. We chat a little bit again, she tells me that there are groups of two for the oral exam and that everyone can sign in on a slot online. This time im trying to also talk about other stuff but then she just replied with "oh okay" and "nope" so i figured she maybe really just wanted to compare herself with me to see how much she still has to learn. I dont want to annoy her again with my interest in her so i don't really try to get the conversation going. Again. I also don't sign into the same slot as her because you know, it would be kinda weird for her when the guy that she (in her mind) rejected a few weeks ago (even if she didn't directly say so) suddenly wants to do his exam with her as a partner. Again a few weeks later (2 days ago) she messages again. Something like this: "Hey i just looked at the table online and saw that everyone is signed in a different slot so do you maybe want to do the exam with me as your partner? :)". I accept (in my mind im completely baffled that she even wants to talk to me again in person after i asked her out after like 5 messages and one quick talk 💀). We chatted a bit again after this and now i am here. I'm completely irritated about what i should do next and i don't even know if she realizes what she is doing with me by texting me again. I mean she clearly saw the text where i asked her out, so why on earth would she try to hold contact with me and even want to see me again? Maybe she just wants to be nice but if im honest i would rather have no contact with her at all than having to do the exam with a girl i find attractive and likable knowing that she doesnt think of me the same way even a bit. On top of that a friend of mine was in the same school as her a few years back and he said that everyone found her very attractive and that shes basically a 9/10. Then there is me, i mean im not that ugly but shes clearly out of my league if others think about her like that. And i don't really know what to do next. Should i maybe ask her a few weeks before we have the exam if she wants to practice together with me? Should i do nothing and just bring it over with and never think that she could want something from me ever again? I really need your advice on this because at this point im desperate af. (If you guys clearly say that she probably isn't trying to hit on me it wouldn't be that dramatic for me. I honestly don't expect much out of this thing anyway :D )
