Ended a four-year relationship two months ago - should I get a FWB?

Looking for advice from third parties here - I'm a straight female in my late 20s who just ended a four-year relationship a little over two months ago. The relationship should have ended last year (for many, many reasons), but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

We live together and not living together is not an option until he graduates in May. This circumstance is unchangeable, unfortunately.

At any rate, he started sleeping with someone less than a month after we broke up. I knew before he told me, but he eventually told me. I didn't take it well, because I thought there must have been something wrong with me for him to be able to jump in bed with someone that quickly. I've since realized that it had nothing to do with me.

I will only be living in my current city for 1.5-2 years, as I'm in school, as well. I don't think I'm ready for a relationship, but I do think that I need a distraction/something physical. Thoughts/pros/cons on whether or not I pursue a friend with benefits?
