Not to say I haven't talked to anyone. I definitely have. Heck, I've talked to a lot of boys in my lifetime. The thing is, I've never experienced anything mutual before, the same level of interest. There have been so many "almost boyfriends" and in the end, it just never works out. It's always I like them too much but they don't like me enough and vice versa. I just feel like a foster girlfriend to guys because they always end up getting back with their ex or the girl they end up talking to after me ends up being their girlfriend pretty soon after. I can't say it doesn't hurt my feelings. My friends think I've been being picky all these years but the thing is, I have always been open to the idea of love, I just haven't found it. I don't even care about looks that much.
When I tell boys that I've never had a boyfriend they think I'm lying or to some, it scares them off because they assume I have no experience in dating.
Can you guys tell me if it is a red flag at my age to have never in a relationship?
