Happened a while ago, I matched with someone who seemed familiar on Tinder. I had the strong feeling I knew her but I didn’t want to believe it. After I messaged her we talked of how we have met before. She is the daughter of a man I was beginning to become well acquainted with (me and said girl are the same age btw-in our 20s). It was weird for me to have matched her because until then, I had only met her once while introduced to her after being invited over by her father. I don’t know how to advance through the app without making it seem like I am going behind his back or how I could even just advance with her after first becoming acquainted with her father through our own like-hobbies.
I mean, on tinder I asked what she was looking for and we both agreed that we are just looking for friends and see where it goes. I don’t mind that with anyone, but I feel awkward doing that with her because I have hing out with her father plenty of times. How do I ho about this?
