Do people go to others’ houses, get intimate, etc in the non-exclusive stage?

By intimate I mean anywhere in between cuddling to actually having sex. Do these things lead to early attachment to a partner? Is it reasonable to want to know if your partners have done this stuff with others? Or does anyone/is it normal to want to wait until you’re exclusive to do these things?
