I (25M) met this beautiful girl(25F) through a mutual friend. Our first interaction was great but didn't last long. A few days after we first met my friend told me that the girl liked me a lot.
We started chatting on viber for two weeks and we seemed to have a lot in common and today we went on our first date.
We went for a drink and talked for about 3 hours but to be honest it was kinda boring for me (possibly for her too) but I didn't give it much thought because first dates always felt super awkward to me.
She seemed distant during the date(didn't want to sit next to me, avoided physical contact, e.g) but I figured that she just wanted to take things slow.
Anyway after the drink I asked if she wanted to go for a walk or call it a night and she said she was ok with having a walk.
Five minutes later while we were walking and talking she suddenly received an "urgent call from a friend" and she needed to leave.
To be honest it looked like a fake call and my first thought was that she just wanted to leave and didn't have the nerve to say it.
But after that she said she was sorry and wanted to reschedule some time in the week and after a while she texted me that she was sorry again but her friend needed her.
What do you make of all this?
