I just turned 30. I am still in school for the next 5 years for a bachelors degree. I have a part time job working night shifts at a warehouse. And I am living with my immigrant parents because we just moved to the US few years ago.
I have been feeling so insecure about meeting guys as I have nothing to bring to the table right now. But I got on Bumble and see that men on there really thrive in their late 30s- early 40s. The quality is top-notch! And most of them seem like they’re still single in their late 30s.
So I guess once I have my degree down, have a stable job and buy a condo for my parents so I can live on my own, I’ll be more confident in meeting those gentlemen. I won’t have to worry much about men at that age because they would be at the same level of me, successful, established and they will be looking for the real thing like me. 30 year old me is feeling hopeful that I will meet someone my level in the next 5 years and we’ll make up for the time I’m losing right now because of my inferiority complex.
