So, my boyfriend and I were best friends for 3 years. Then we finally confessed our love for each other and have been dating for 2 years now.. back in September I went to his sister’s wedding with him ofc as a couple. That was my second time meeting his sister since they live in a different state. His family and I are really close. We were close even as my boyfriend and I were friends. His family has always been loving and supportive of our relationship. They have also encouraged us to get married numerous times and to have children. Including my own family has been on us for not being married yet or having kids. We both do not have kids. Which we would love to have once we are married. Well at his sister’s wedding I caught the bouquet of flowers that the bride throws. So since I caught the bouquet is there a certain timeframe for him to get down and propose? I feel like since we have known each other for a total of 5 years and have been in love with one another since we first laid eyes on each other that the proposal should be around the corner. He’s always telling me how we can’t wait to marry me and spend the rest of his life with me but what’s taking him so long to get down on one knee and ask? I even over heard his mom asking him when is he going to propose and has he looked at rings. From my knowledge I know I heard him say he has. Our 3 years anniversary is coming up and wondering if it will happen then? Like how does this work lol I have no clue!! Please no judging.
