1. How We Met – The Festival
So before I start telling you about my problem, I'm gonna explain how me and this girl met.
The first time we met was at a festival, and yeah, let's just say it was pretty awkward. I was already kind of drunk, and a friend of mine wanted to find me a girl. Then I saw that one girl and asked him if he could talk to me for her (yes, I know how stupid that sounds, but I never actually talked to a girl).
Then he talked to her and it was pretty awkward — she just gave me her Snap, but in the end, she didn't accept my friend request.
2. House Party – Unexpected Reunion
Now last weekend, I was spontaneously invited to a house party by a girl I was friends with. I knew that the girl who threw the house party was also friends with that one girl from the festival.
So I already thought to myself: This is going to be so awkward, what did I get myself into again?
3. First Real Interaction
Once I arrived at the house party, I was already very nervous. So I sat down on a couch with a friend of mine, and suddenly a girl sits down beside him — and then the girl from the festival sits down beside me.
Let’s call her L.
At first, I didn’t really talk to her, but then I started a conversation and eventually brought up that awkward encounter at the festival. We just kind of laughed it off.
We talked some more and she was always with me. We got some drinks and eventually we were upstairs and both sat on a couch. Then she put her head on my shoulder and I wrapped my arm around her.
For almost the entire evening, she was in my arms and I also gave her a kiss on the head — which, when I think about it, was really awkward, but it worked. She got closer to me.
4. Sleeping on the Couch Together
At like 3/4 AM, we all went to sleep. Her friends asked us if we wanted to sleep downstairs on the couch together.
We both said we don’t care, but we both wanted to — so in the end, we laid down on the couch. She was in my arms again, but I was laying so uncomfortably that I couldn’t sleep.
But hey, at least she was sleeping.
5. The Next Morning
In the morning, we didn’t really talk because we were both tired and everyone was kind of hungover from the party.
But when she left, she gave me a hug and also accepted my friend request on Snap.
6. First Meetup After the Party
The next day, we snapped a little bit.
At the house party, she mentioned that she lives near my school, so I asked her if she wanted to meet before school.
She overslept and I waited 45 minutes, but in the end we still spent some time together and hugged each other again and talked a little bit.
7. Second Meetup and connecting with her
The same day, I had a free period (idk if that’s the right word) and then went to her school (her and my school are not very far away from each other).
A friend of hers said she didn’t feel so good, so they could leave class for a bit. When they were there, we hugged again and talked, but we didn’t have that much time because they had to go back to class again. After school we snapped a little bit and we kind of talked about her and my parents divorce and kind of connected. We had a great conversation where we both could kind of relate to each other.
8. Insider Info 1
I also got a little bit of insider info from a friend of hers, when I told that friend that I am freaking out and don’t know what to do.
It was a risky move, but she told L, and then she replied to her that she finds me really cute.
9. Mixed Signals on Snap
I also have her location on Snap (for those who don’t know: it’s just the live location, and with that, you can see if the other person is online).
Sounds pretty good, but right now I’m still not sure if she likes me, because yesterday and today she left me on delivered, despite being online.
She started like occasionally leaving me on delivered for 10–20 minutes even though she was only like 5 minutes before (peak was one hour). She like also only snapped with half her face and not full face the whole time. There were just like a couple of snaps were she kind of snapped full face.
10. Insider Info 2
But yesterday, my friend also told me that a friend of L asked him if I already had some relationships, because she wanted to know if I got experience — because she can imagine a relationship.
It’s like an emotional roller coaster.
11. Where I’m At Now
Maybe I’m just a coward and overthinking too much, but it’s really stressing me out because I just don’t want to fumble it and lose this opportunity.
I wanted to call her Tuesday (today’s Thursday), but she said she has to do homework. I don't know what's going on, because she hugs me everytime we see eachother and we have some good conversations, but on the other hand she also leaves me on delievered for some kind of short periods of times and today she didn't really text that much, but she also didn't go to school today and also seems kind of tired. I don't know if I am just thinking too much and because of that think she's giving me mixed signals or if she's actually playing hard to get or if she just wasn't in the mood to snap or have a conversation today and yesterday.
12. What I Want
It’s my first time in a situation like this and I just need some kind of advice.
I want to actually go out with her and have a "date" and also call her. I don't know if I am doing something wrong, like moving too fast or too slow. I also fear that she doesn't snap as much anymore, because of yesterday when she learned about the fact, that I never had a girlfriend. I really just want to make this work.
