Should I (24f) even bother making the first move with men if I’ve never been approached/dated before? I think that says more about my attractiveness than how I feel about myself (generally confident) leaving me a bit torn. I’ve been rejected before online but never tried anything in person. I get stares but they often look away when I try to meet the eye. It sucks but I do still believe my guy is out there.
I see more handsome men in passing (where they work, at stores, airports etc) than at events or through my hobbies. I think I’m missing opportunities not saying anything. I don’t have any qualms about who makes the first move, more so, the moment being right.
Men, how do you feel about a stranger making the first move on you? What would you appreciate -her being blunt or trying to be nice and work up a conversation first?
