Hi! I (22F, US) matched with a 25M on Hinge last week. He’s a resident doctor, so I know he has a busy schedule. He liked me first, so I matched back. What’s confusing is his texting pattern. After I matched back, he didn’t message for two days. When I finally said “hey,” he replied the next day. Then I asked how he was doing, and he responded two days later. This has been his consistency the entire week. He comes online, disappears, comes online again, disappears — all while barely replying. Even when I asked about weekend plans, he took three days to answer. I’m not expecting long messages, but it feels really dry and low-effort. For people who use Hinge more or have experience with busy professionals, is this normal behavior? Or is it usually a sign that someone isn’t that interested? Just trying to understand whether this is a Hinge thing or if I should move on
