Hi guys. I’m like 90% sure I know what your initial reaction is going to be when I explain this situation to you but I ask you to plsss hear me out and give some helpful advice don’t just say “this is bad/wrong” bc technically it’s not really that bad I’m a grown adult sooo ANYWAYS
So, last night, I (18F) started talking to this guy. Ok so I’ve never really dated anyone before because well I’ve never felt attracted to anyone. So when we started talking I was immediately drawn in I don’t know whattt it is about this guy but it’s actually driving me crazy we stayed up till 3 am chatting and he’s so sweet and cute and whatever U get the point. He was wanting to meet up last night cause it was halloween night and we initially started talking because I made a post about how I wasn’t going out for this halloween and I was kinda bummed and he was like talking abt how I could come over but I’m not gonna lie I was a little (a lot) drunk and I could barely stand up let alone meet up with a dude. I’m also not dumb I have some survival skills to know better LOL…
Ok anyways. Here’s the catch tho he’s 35. WHICH I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH. Like he asked if I was okay with it and I was like yeah that’s fine I kind of like it tbh. Anyways we’ve been texting and stuff andddd I’m pretty sure tonight we are gonna see eachother like no plans have officially been made but we’ve both kind of hinted at me coming over to his place.
HERESSS WHERE IM KINDA IFFY because he does seem soo sweet but I feel like meeting for the first time and having him pick me up and take me to his place kind of seems a little suspicious and maybe I’m overthinking it cause I’ve never even held a guys hand let alone go to his place for a night?😭
But he said yk he’s cleaning up and stuff andd yeah if he was just having me come over for that reason I feel like he wouldn’t care about anything and just come pick me up and not prepare or anything. Anyways. Idk. Does anyone have any advice? Maybe should I tell him let’s go somewhere first like maybe a movie or a halloween related event or something before we go to his place??
And guys I’m gonna be safe I have pepper spray in case something goes wrong LOL which I know it won’t but I know it’s always good to be safe! I’m more just curious like what is yalls advice for this type of situation because I have no experience with dating or anything of the sort…………..Sooo yeah ok that’s all!!!
