Recently I’ve (17m) been talking to someone I met online (17f).
I’ve been meaning to ask her out for a while, but she went on a trip for 2 weeks or so and I’ve been putting it off. A few days ago she got back and we finally decided to hang out.
One of the lines she brought up that bothers me is “you look like/remind me my ex” (I don’t remember which one). I looked him up, turns out that, yes, we do look very alike.
Problem is, she said she recently broke up with him, within the past few months or so... I’m not entirely sure where I stand in this relationship and/or I should ask her out after hearing this.
